I really like this premise! It's satisfying when you kill the guy. I would recommend adding a bit more feel to the game, like screenshake or effects. Also, the hints are a bit too easy. Maybe you could slow the pace down a bit?

There is a whole lying/misremembering system but I turned it off because I thought it would confuse people with the limited info available in 64x64.
